Ann Adachi
A ball-jointed doll artist based in Kochi, Japan.

Career and Awards
Ann Adachi began making dolls in 2002 and studied under Kyo Otake.
In 2010 she received the Grand Prize at the 5th National Creative Doll Competition, and she continues to create ball-jointed and creative dolls while participating in curated and group exhibitions.
As a co-organizer of the Kurashiki Hiina Exhibition of Japanese Creative Dolls, she also helps create opportunities for doll artists from across Japan to present their work.
In Kochi City, she leads the Poupée Lourdes Creative Doll Society, also known as the Ann Adachi Creative Doll Class, sharing the techniques and expressive possibilities of creative doll making alongside her own studio practice.
